It’s so exciting to witness the beginnings of a church!
On Easter weekend, TCC greeted hundreds of people for its first community event and then worshipped together for the first time on Easter Sunday in the cafetorium at Tradewind Elementary School. God is at work in our neighborhood, and we are grateful!
So, what’s next for TCC? Here are four ways you can stay connected as the church continues to take shape.
Preview worship services.
TCC has planned four preview worship services (the first one was on Easter Sunday). They’re sort of like practices before TCC begins meeting each week. The three other preview worship services are at 10 a.m. in the cafetorium of Tradewind Elementary School on:
Sunday, June 16,
Sunday, July 21, and
Sunday, August 18.
We hope you’ll come to these summer worship services — and invite someone! Find details about what to expect on Sunday mornings at TCC here, and register your kids for those worship services here.
Weekly home Bible studies.
A new home Bible study began this week and will continue to meet on Tuesdays through May 28. Anyone interested in TCC is welcome to attend! For details, contact TCC Pastor Brad Newman at 806-290-1979 or email brad@tccamarillo.com.
TCC will gather in homes to study the Bible and fellowship throughout the summer, as well!
Community events.
The neighborhood is invited to TCC’s Movie in the Park event on Friday, June 14! We’ll set up a massive screen in Tradewind School Park that evening, serve popcorn, and watch a flick under the open sky.
TCC also will host a series of three free Day Camps for kids (preschoolers with a parent and grades K-5) on July 11, July 18, and July 25, in Tradewind School Park. The camps are set from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will include lunch.

Also, look for us on the campus of Tradewind Elementary School. We’re planning to serve at a handful of end-of-the-school-year events!
Weekly worship services.
TCC will begin weekly worship services on Sunday, September 8! That’s what we call “launch” Sunday. It's only about four months away!
