1. You’ll hear good news.
This is the best thing about church on Sundays.
The songs we sing, the stories in every kids Bible class, each sermon, our prayers, communion, the act of baptism — on Sundays at TCC, all of it is telling one Good News story about God and how He loves and saves us from eternal death!
We need this good news, this Gospel, on repeat (and especially at the start of a new week!), and church is where we can expect to receive it each and every time.
2. You’ll find real community.
We're not meant for life alone. God created us for relationship – with Him, and with one another. Togetherness matters, and Sundays are for being together.
We believe a church should aim to genuinely love, listen to, and pray for one another. Those relationships are formed and strengthened each week at church.
3. You’ll encourage someone else.
Your very presence in church on Sunday might be the boost that someone else needs!
On Sundays, you may have the opportunity to share someone’s burden — or share their joy. You may be the person someone needs to receive a hug from, or to pray with. Someone on Sunday morning might be uplifted by you just showing up!
And one more reason to go to church on Sundays: You’ll be obeying God. God’s Word, the Bible, says, “…let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another...” (Hebrews 10:24-25a).
TCC meets for church at 10 on Sunday mornings at The Shop Event Venue, 1585 S.E. 58th Ave. You're invited!
