It’s the first day of a new year — a good day to get excited about what Tradewind Community Church will do in 2019.
TCC is set to officially launch this year! The first public worship service at Tradewind Elementary School is set on Easter Sunday, April 21. A trio of preview services this summer (June 16, July 21, and August 18) lead up to weekly services, beginning on Sunday, September 8!
TCC also has a series of community events planned, starting with its first Community Easter Festival on Saturday, April 20, in Tradewind School Park. TCC’s summer will include a movie in the park event, three day camps for kids, and a back-to-school block party.
It’s a good day to get excited about what TCC will do in 2019.
But even more, today is a good day to get excited about what God will do in 2019.
Will He graciously form a new community of people here, who listen to each other, love each other, and support each other in real and everyday ways?
Will He gather people here — in living rooms and a school cafetorium and a public park — who are ready to read and love His Bible?
Will He save people in our neighborhood by His Gospel? Will we witness God completely transform lives by the crucified and resurrected Jesus?
How will God surprise us and exceed every expectation we have? How will He sustain us? How will He protect? How will He receive glory?
In a year, on January 1, 2020, what will God have done in the Tradewind neighborhood? What stories will we be telling, boasting in His goodness? That’s something to get excited about!
So, will you join us this year? Will you pray with us? Will you study the Bible with us and worship with us? Will you serve alongside us? Will you eagerly wait with us to see what God will do in 2019?
